I have been wanting to make poppers, just plain poppers but can you find that online... the answer would be NO. I set to work in my kitchen and this is what I came up with.
9 jalapenos
8oz package of cream cheese.
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
Salt to taste
garlic salt to taste.
1 egg
Mix flour, bread crumbs, salt and garlic salt together. Half jalapenos and spread with cream cheese. beat egg and roll jalapenos in egg then flour mixture. Heat about an inch of oil at med high heat in large frying pan. Fry until brown on both sides. let oil drip on a paper towel.
They are to die for. Best poppers I have ever eaten.
